What is MOSCASHOES?
Damiano Mosca is a designer, design director, manager and instructor of his start-to-finish footwear production workshop, founded in San Francisco, province of Córdoba, Argentina. Since 2011, he has been involved in the different parts of design and his creative process—accompanied by his long career in the sector—led him to cement the heart of Mosca Studio by developing products for third-party brands, attending to ideas and embodying the vision of your clientele. The transience of time until today branched out its use artistically under the design house “Mosca: The Collection” with its own label products. Since then, he was selected as one of the thirteen best emerging designers in the world by the MICAM Milano 2023 Festival, where his first presentation as a brand occurred.
MOSCASHOES offers its own collection of products and also provides a product development service for third-party brands. They conceive, conceptualize, and manufacture specimens and prototypes with all the necessary resources for their design and final production. These items can be picked up at their facilities or delivered to your doorstep via a tracking service. With a skilled workforce, the studio is committed to training and incorporating personnel, enabling diverse groups such as the transgender community, women in vulnerable situations, and individuals starting their employment journey.
The studio develops different types of footwear with minimal stock or made-to-order, such as boots, high heels, stilettos, booties, loafers, and flats, all made 100% with Argentine raw materials and labor. The guiding idea behind the collection lies in the reevaluation of the artisanal footwear maker, leveraging the uniqueness of artisanal techniques and combining them with modern methodologies. This fusion gives birth to products that reflect complexity and study, an extreme attention to detail, a range of different sizes, and materials that ensure a prolonged lifespan. Both color and texture proposals play a crucial role, along with the use of exotic and unusual materials, making MOSCA footwear distinctive, exquisite, personalized, and characteristic.
